CHARCOAL DRAWINGS

I've recently started doing a lot more drawing, initially as a way to improve my painting. I found that I really enjoy it and would like to explore the possibilities. I've enjoyed experimenting with different media such as charcoal.

BIRO SCRIBBLE DRAWINGS

The intent was to loosen up in my drawing by using a biro to make random, uncontrolled lines to create form and texture.

I have included some examples here because I really enjoyed the process; listening to music and getting into a flow state without overthinking whether i was doing it "right". I felt quite connected to the subject matter and think that it would be a good process to do as a warm-up for a more finished art work.
